The Redemption Blues Band play the Blues Revolution Christmas Party, 2010.
You see quite a bit of me dancing in this. Watching myself back, I don’t know whether I like what I see or not. A year’s past, and I know I’m a better dancer, a better follow - I have better quality of movement and less affectation…but I’m still noisy, still a little back on my heels. So, “must try harder” is perhaps my motto for next weekend’s “Blues Baby Blues” - Swing Patrol UK’s blues dance festival. Any of my followers coming along? GRAB ME FOR A DANCE! (I lead as well as follow!)
PS - USA Blues dancers - the UK and Europe scene is exploding. What we lack in refined skill, we more than make up for in passion and enthusiasm! Eeek, there are so many people in this I know and/or have danced with multiple times. I don’t even live in London (or attend pure blues events, really). The UK scene is TINY.

Hahaha - so awesome that you’ve danced with so many of the UKers - the scene has really come from our Lindy circles, and yes, the scene is TINY indeed, but it really is growing…I’m in my second year, and there is *double* the amount of dancers from last year! :)
